The Aldridge group develops Main Group compounds to achieve unprecedented reactivity in the capture and activation of small molecules. We target systems with novel geometric and electronic structure that are capable of the transformation of industrially relevant substrates. Our aim is to alter the perception of the capabilities of Main Group compounds in stoichiometric and catalytic reactions.
